Battery safety
- Keep coin batteries away from children. A swallowed coin cell can cause severe internal burns within hours. If you think a battery has been swallowed or placed in the body, get medical help immediately.
- If the battery compartment does not close securely, stop using the key and keep it away from children.
- Hold the new battery by its edges and avoid touching the circuit board or contacts.
- Replace only with the same type, and recycle the old battery according to local rules.
If the key still doesn't work
- Check the battery orientation and that the cover is fully closed.
- Make sure the new battery is the exact code listed above — similar sizes are not interchangeable.
- If the buttons still do not work, contact a franchised dealer. We do not cover key programming or security systems.
